Completed parts - 1

These are the first set of printed parts that (mostly) work.

The first attempts attaches to my existing Xtend-a-slide. All parts printed with TransiDupe Version .9.018. These are printed with the gold PLA filament that came with the printer. The final versions will be printed with black filament.

Using a hose clamp I got from Home Depot. The hose clamp knob (thumbshell) was printed.

I attached it to my macro lens and Canon 60D and shot the calibration slide (calslide) (Which was printed.)

Note that the printer can't quite print the calibration slide properly. It was printed at the highest (hyper) quality that the printer has. (But it looks neat when imaged as a slide.)

Then I shot a real slide.

It works. But the problem thus far is there is no way to compensate for the Xtend-a-Slide tube (or the 3D printed equivalents) drooping. Note that both the calibration slide and the real image are down a bit. This is because the tube droops. I'm trying to figure out the best solution for this.
