Completed parts - 5

I worked on the non-PVC tube version. (All of the tube elements are 3D printed.)

This version is designed to work with a P&S (Canon G15).

The TransiDupe mounts to a Photosolve Xtend-a-Lens Omni adapter. A close-up lens (shown) is needed. I ended up using +10 diopter close-up lens. The Xtend-a-Lens Omni is 37mm. I chose a set of 58mm close-up lenses, so I needed a 37mm-58mm step-up ring to go from the Omni to the close-up lens.

The Transidupe mounts onto the front of the closeup lens. I chose a 58mm-67mm step-up ring to mount the Transidupe on.

I am having good luck with slanted slits on the back plate of the TransiDupe rear tube. Here is the most recent exploded view (the green rear tube is upside down):

I used a variation of the Duplihood "springpart" to mount the slide

You also need a 1/4 in. -20 nut and 1/4-20 thumb screw. (Alternate version) (You can also get a metal 1/4 in -20 thumb screw from Home Depot.), and a bunch of 3/4 in. mini spring clamps. You also might want to get a 20 pack of Suspend-it 1 in. panel clips (in case the back plate needs doesn't snap into place on the rear step-up ring.)

See the parts list for more about parts.
